Remember when I said that I was moving in July and I didn’t have to time to start anything. WELL, I STARTED A BUNCH OF NEW DRAMAS! It was a holiday weekend and what do we normally do on a holiday weekend? WE START NEW DRAMAS! Do I have the time to watch anything? For now, I have some time but, in a week, – ABSOLUTELY NOT! This might be the last blogpost I do before my move. I am not sure if I will do one more next week or wait until after my move. We will have to see. This week, we are again talking about everything on my current watchlist. New dramas that I recently started and also dramas that should have been off my watchlist 4 months ago. You will definitely question why certain dramas are still on my current watchlist because they are EXTREMELY popular in 2026 and yet are on the back burner for me. I plan to at least finish 1 more drama off this list before the end of July. You will find out what that drama is later in the blogpost or in my wrap up blogpost in august once I am moved into my new apartment.

KDRAMAS
Agent Kim Reactivated – I watched the first episode of this Kdrama AND MAN IT DRAWS YOU IN! I will say watching this drama and teach you a lesson at the same makes me really hate bullies. I am definitely going to have to take a break from bully storylines once I am done with both of these Kdramas. I CAN’T WAIT TO WATCH MORE OF THIS KDRAMA! I have been spoiled on some of the fighting scenes of this Kdrama because it is already on episode 6 and I have only watched the first episode BUT MAN THE FIGHT SCENE AT THE END OF EPISODE 1 IS SO GOOD! I had to laugh though because you know the director did that opening of So Ji Sub’s shirt scene for the ladies.
Teach You a Lesson – I am almost done with this Kdrama. I have 2 episodes to go. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS KDRAMA! I should have completed this Kdrama already, but I am sort of savoring it. I want to actively punch the bad guys in this drama but that means this is a good drama. You care about the victims or the team and want to see punishment for the villains. THIS DRAMA DEFINITELY GIVES YOU A SATISFYING PUNISHMENT ENDING WITH EVERY EPISODE! I love the main unit. I love that this drama still has been able to put some humor into the drama. I love Na Hwa Jin and his father in law’s relationship. I can’t wait to see how this Kdrama ends and we NEED A SEASON 2!
The Prosecutor’s Proposal – I started this Kdrama for 4 reasons. One, I needed to watch more BLs so, I picked this one to start. Two, people were talking about it and saying good things. Apparently, it is VERY popular in China. Three, it is about a prosecutor and his investigator so, it is a crime drama. You know I love a good crime drama, and I was intrigued with what South Korea was going to do with a BL mixed in with a crime drama which we have not seen yet. We got some good crime BLs from Thailand so, I wanted to compare. Four, the son of the victim and the son of the murderer work together and team up. THERE IS BOUND TO BE SOME GREAT TENSION WITH THAT! Let me tell you, THERE IS SOME GREAT TENSION AND CHEMISTRY! Is it toxic with that set up? ABSOLUTLEY! Do I care? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I watched the first episode. The leads have great chemistry and I can’t wait to see their relationship change and grow. I just hope it sticks the landing.
Taxi Driver Season 3 – This Kdrama and The Judge returns are still on the back burner. I still have only watched the first episode. I am not dropping it because I plan on finishing it. One reason why I have not watched more is that I needed to get other dramas off my current watchlist or spend my time watching other dramas due to future podcast recordings. Another reason which is a little stupid and easily fixed is the sun outside. I need it to be dark to watch this drama. I have a wall of windows and a glare on my tv screen and when the sun stays up until 8:30 pm, that only gives me a small window to watch things. I know I can fix this by pulling down my curtains. So, this is a me problem. I do plan on finishing this drama and I know I will enjoy it so, I am not dropping it.
The Judge Returns – It is the same answer as I said for Taxi Driver for the Judge returns. This Kdramas is on the back burner. I need to give these 2 Kdramas priority so, I can finish them!

KVARIETY
Please Take Care of Your Refrigerator Season 2 – Maybe I can watch this one during the day because it does not have dark scenes. That way I can regularly watch this more and get more episodes completed. I am still watching this cooking show. I STILL LOVE IT! I continue to watch this show sporadically and when I am too tired to watch anything else. I am always excited to see the new guests and the new chefs that come onto the episodes.

CDRAMAS
Fated Hearts – I have been wanting to watch this cdrama for a LONG TIME! I finally started it because I want to do a review of it on the podcast. I BINGED 7 EPISODES IN ONE SITTING! That is how you know I am LOVING this Cdrama. I love that this pairing is absolutely an enemy to lover’s story. THE LEADS HATE EACH OTHER AT THE BEGINNING! I also love that even though they hate each other, they very quickly knew that they had to work together to survive. They are vicious in the beginning against each other. If you are not a fan of torture, this one is not for you. THE LEADS’ CHEMISTRY IS OFF THE CHARTS! Even when they are torturing each other. These 2 leads definitely have a lot of people who want them dead so, I am excited to see them work together even more and start having a romance. You know it will be a fiery and passionate romance just with how their chemistry is already at the beginning of the drama. I also LOVE the male lead’s soldiers who help him out. That will be a great bromance as well.
Deep In – Another BL that I started over the long weekend. I have heard a lot of people talking about this one. I watched the first episode. THIS CDRAMA IS GOING TO BE TOXIC! I am not sure about the lead pairing yet because I have only watched the first episode BUT I will say I do like the leads’ chemistry. I saw Ollie on Boys Planet so, it is interesting to see him here. He looked really young on Boy’s Planet. He definitely has aged but he still looks young in this cdrama. I think this drama will have an interesting perspective because it is about 2 actors, but the drama seems to also be telling the story of the movie that these 2 actors are acting. It will be interesting to see if this drama can essentially pull off 2 storylines in one drama. This drama is going to have some morally gray characters for sure! I am curious to see how the lead’s relationship grows and if there will be a distinction between them and their movie characters and how that will be acted.
Bittersweet Love – I started this BL over the long weekend as well. THIS WILL BE ANOTHER TOXIC CHINESE BL DRAMA! I mean we have 1 lead who marries into a wealthy family to a woman. The other lead is his brother-in-law. I don’t see how this is going to work out. The lead who marries into a wealthy family is a DOORMAT from day 1. There will definitely be a power dynamic in this drama and in the relationship. I do love the cinematography of this drama. I think it is shot beautifully. The leads do have chemistry, but it doesn’t stand out as much as some of the other BLs I am watching. The brother-in-law definitely has more of a Prescence and has quite a powerful tone to his character. You know something is there between the leads right away. I have only watched episode 1. It is on the slower side in my opinion, and I don’t see how this is going to end well. I foresee a sad ending with this cdrama.
Story of Yanxi Palace – FINALLY CHECKING THIS CDRAMA OUT! We got a classic here and I clicked play on this cdrama because I am watching it for a future podcast recording. I watched the first episode AND MAN WE GOT SOME DRAMA ON OUR HANDS! We have not gotten a palace harem/concubine/household politics drama in a bit in cdramaland. They aren’t made very often anymore. I can see why this one is the GOLD standard even from episode 1. This story is going to be MESSY with lots of backstabbing. We can already tell from episode 1 that the female lead is calculating. I am excited to see her rise through the ranks from a servant. I am excited to dive deeper into this drama. 70 EPISODES IS A LOT! There is a reason why this drama was one of the most googled dramas in the year it aired. It is considered a classic and I can already see why.
Under the Skin Season 2 – I have not watched more of this cdrama since I clicked play on episode 1 last month. I needed to start some other dramas and finish some older dramas. You will notice 2 cdramas are no longer on my watchlist anymore. I am not dropping this one, but it is on the back burner right now.
The Guilty – I KNOW, I KNOW! I keep saying I need to get this off my current watchlist and then we roll around to the next month and IT IS STILL HERE! I want to continue watching it. I don’t want to drop it. It just is STILL on the back burner right now. I will finish it in 2026. I REALLY DO JUST NEED TO WATCH IT AND COMPLETE IT!
Pursuit of Jade – I KNOW! You are asking how this one is still on my watchlist as well. It is still on the back burner. I think I have forgotten enough of it to bring it back into my active watchlist though. I do plan on completing it by the end of 2026. THAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN! I am not dropping this one.
Goodbye My Princess – Lastly, I started this cdrama for a future podcast recording. I watched episode 1. EVERYONE LOOKS SO YOUNG! I can already tell this one is going to have some classic tropes. I already know the ending of this cdrama so, I know where it is going. I can tell that this is a high-budget production because this drama is BEAUTIFULLY made! Everything from the sets or even locations they shot some of the scenes in episode 1 to the costumes stand out. The red of the female lead’s dress is iconic at this point and it is beautiful. There were some parts, like a scene where they had character on screen but then a different characters floating head in the same shot, that did look a little dated but I just noticed them, it did not bother me a ton. You can tell there is also going to be some DRAMA in this cdrama as well and we all know this.

THAI DRAMAS
Knot – I watched the first 2 episodes of Knot and I wish I had waited to binge this Thai drama. IT IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT I WAS EXPECTING! This is my first omegaverse drama. The world and lore make sense to me. They have already set up 3 couples which I look forward to seeing them grow in their relationships. I have not watched Oat or Boat before, but I love their chemistry and I think their acting is quite good. This drama definitely put the animalistic part of the omegaverse into the first 2 episodes and made it convincing. I thought the first 2 episodes were very entertaining.
Payback – I started Payback over the long weekend because a lot of people were loving it and I thought WHY NOT START YET ANOTHER BL! Now I have only watched the first episode. So, it was mostly the background of the 1 of the male leads and I still don’t know much about the second male lead. I loved the acting and you can tell that 1 of the male leads is going to have some trauma to work through. Was I hooked immediately? No but I see potential and I think it will grow on me more as I watch more episodes. I ALREADY want to see what his ex has coming for him.
Girl from Nowhere – This Thai Drama is still on the back burner. I have not watched more of it. That does not mean I don’t like it. I LOVED THE FIRST EPISODE! I just need to make it a priority and finish it. I was getting other dramas off my current watchlist that I started even earlier than this drama. Of course, I also went crazy and started SO MANY NEW DRAMAS AS WELL!
Petrichor – I started this drama last month and I have not watched more than episode 1. I still loved the first episode. I was just working on other dramas that have been on my current watchlist longer. Of course, I also went crazy and started SO MANY NEW DRAMAS AS WELL!
