WE ARE BACK ONCE AGAIN TO TALK ABOUT ALL THE DRAMAS THAT ARE ON MY CURRENT WATCHLIST! This is one of my favorite blogposts to write and talk about and I know a lot of you enjoy reading this blogpost as well. Or listening to the podcast episode/YouTube video of this list as well. We just love talking about what we are loving and watching right now. I should really just do some podcast episodes of bringing on guests and we just talk about what we are currently watching and enjoying. Now, just like I have done every month in 2026, I started some new dramas to talk about some new dramas here on this list. I also got some dramas off my current watchlist in the month of May that I have been “watching” since January. I did not get as many dramas off my current watchlist in May as I wanted to, but we don’t need to talk about that. Due to me, actively trying to get some dramas off my current watchlist and life just happening – I may not have gotten far in some of the dramas that I started in April on my last current watchlist. So, it is going to mix of a lot of dramas – once I have been watching for a while and that I need to finish and others I just clicked play on yesterday.
KDRAMAS
Teach You a Lesson – I started Teach You a Lesson last night and IMMEDIATELY binged 2 episodes. I can tell that this is going to be a quick watch. It is DEFINITELY a drama that is right up my alley so, it is no surprise that I am enjoying it. I can see why they say that this Kdrama is in the same universe as Study Group because it does have the same vibes. I would say that This Kdrama has a darker tone to it and definitely has a sadder background to it that Study Group. If you are a fan of Study Group, Weak Hero or even Taxi Driver, you would enjoy this Kdrama. Now, due to this Kdrama’s popularity and social media, I have been spoiled on a lot of scenes and parts of the story with this Kdrama but I decided that I was still going to watch it. All of the episodes are out now on Netflix so it will be a quick binge FOR SURE! I did not expect humor, but this does have humor and it is quite funny. I am excited to watch more of it.
The Judge Returns – I started this Kdrama back in April. I took the opportunity in May to complete other dramas that were on my current watchlist so, I have not watched more of this Kdrama after watching episode 1. I did like the first episode, and I am excited to watch more of this Kdrama now that some of my other dramas are off my current watchlist. I definitely think I will like this one. I have HIGH hopes. Ji Sung actually has another Kdrama airing in July called The Apartment Job that I am looking forward to watching as well.
Taxi Driver Season 3 – Taxi Driver is in the same boat as The Judge Returns. I watched the first episode back in April and then due to getting other dramas of my current watchlist, it has taken a back seat, and I have not watched more. This does not mean I dislike it. I just was watching other dramas for podcast episodes or getting older dramas off my current watchlist. I hope to watch more soon! I don’t know though because June and July as really busy for me. We will have to see what happens. I still HIGHLY recommend this Kdrama series to anyone.
KVARIETY
Please Take Care of Your Refrigerator Season 2 – I am still watching this show slowly. There are ALOT of episodes and I am very behind. I just watch this show sporadically and when I am too tired to watch anything else. I have finished Culinary Class Wars Season 2 now, so, I really need to start watching this again on a regular basis and getting more into the episodes where the chefs from Culinary Class Wars Season 2 show up.
CDRAMAS
Affinity – I am now more than halfway through this Cdrama. I am hoping I can get it off my current watchlist in June. I still HAVE NO IDEA what I am watching. I just feel like this is going to be the feeling I have the entire time I am watching this Cdrama. The story is WILD and you don’t believe any second of it. The leads still have great chemistry and have lots of kiss scenes. I would not say this Cdrama is good though. I am pretty much finishing it too just finish it at this point.
Under the Skin Season 2 – I FINALLY clicked play on Under the Skin Season 2. I watched the first episode AND MAN I MISSED THIS DUO! I already loved episode 1 and I can’t wait to watch more. Now, I will say the duo did not interact much in episode 1 but it was only episode 1. I LOVE both Tan Jian Ci and Jin Shi Jia so, I am excited to watch them together again as a duo in Season 2. I didn’t realize a lot of the supporting cast came back for Season 2 so, that was nice to see as well. The first case introduced in episode 1 was very interesting and I can’t wait to watch more. I could not predict what was happening in the first case. It was only the first episode so, I hope Season 2 is just as good as Season 1 because I LOVED Season 1.
The Vendetta of An – I watched a little more of this cdrama. I need to get my butt moving and finish it though. I have said this before but I will say it again. I LOVE CHENG YI IN THESE TYPES OF ROLES! He plays revenge roles SO WELL! This cdrama is definitely one of those cdramas that you need to pay attention to it or you will miss something. I love seeing the group work together. I hope to finish this cdrama by the end of June but we will have to wait and see what happens.
The Guilty – I just need to get this crime cdrama off my current watchlist at this point. It definitely has taken a back seat in that past month and a half because I was watching other dramas. I still have no idea where this story is going which I know I have said because that means I can’t predict what is going to happen. This makes it fun for me. The trio is still the highlight for me with this cdrama so far. I REALLY do need to complete this one though. I have been watching it for FAR TOO LONG!
Pursuit of Jade – I still have not watched more of this cdrama. It took a backside when I watched other cdramas to get them off my current watchlist like Blossom. I still like what I have watched so far. I need to get back to this Cdrama and work to get it off my current watchlist. I am just not far in it still at all so, I have lots of episodes still to watch. I KNOW YOU ALL ARE JEALOUS OF THIS! I have said this before, because this cdrama was so popular, it was all over social media so, I feel like I already watched this cdrama through social media which I think is another reason why it took a back seat. I was trying to forget what I saw on social media a bit. I know I said I was going to have this off my current watchlist by now – CLEARLY THAT DID NOT HAPPEN! 😂
THAI DRAMAS
Petrichor – I clicked play on this Thai drama and watched the first episode. THIS IS MY FIRST GL! I can’t believe I am saying that. There are so many other GLs on my plan to watch list. I figured since it is June and Pride month – I NEED TO WATCH SOME SORT OF GAY SHOW! Petrichor has been on my plan to watch list for A LONG TIME! It is about a cop and a forensic examiner who investigates crimes together and also fall in love. It is sort of giving me Manner of Death vibes. I LOVED Manner of Death so, I am excited to watch this as well. The main 2 leads have great chemistry. It does have sort of stereotypical set up that you see in a cop/forensic examiner relationship where the forensic examiner is colder and calculating and the cop is more energetic and outgoing. This does not mean it is bad. I am just saying I am not surprised that this is the personalities of the leads in the first episode. I am excited to watch more and see if I love this Thai drama as much as Manner of Death. This reminds me I still need to watch Spare Me Your Mercy.
Girl from Nowhere Season 1 – This Thai drama has taken a bit of a back seat like some of the other dramas on my current watchlist as I worked to get other dramas off my current watchlist. I have not watched more of it. It is crazy though because Teach You a Lesson sort of reminds me of this Thai drama a bit.
