It seems like FOREVER since I wrote one of these posts. Maybe this is because I accidently skipped April’s watchlist post. š Anyone else feel like Kdrama land is lacking in dramas right now? Maybe it is due to the regional licenses or something…ANYWAY, I am still watching a fair number of dramas and I always have PLENTY TO WATCH! So, let’s check in and see what I am watching.
KDRAMAS
Tomorrow – I am finishing this drama today. I am excited to see how it ends. I AM NOT READY TO CRY FOR 4 EPISODES STRAIGHT THOUGH! š I cry in every episode of this drama. I am still loving it and I love the messages that it conveys. I know other people have some issues with this drama which I get. It is a rough drama to watch because of the topics that it approaches such as suicide. I am curious how this drama will end.
Again My Life (*ADDICTED*) – What can I say about Again My Life? I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE IT! I am a sucker for a revenge story. I will say, I wish it had a little more fantasy in it. I also wish there was more fight scenes, I MEAN COME ON – YOU HAVE LEE JOON GI IN THE DRAMA! Why not use him? I am curious to see what twists and turns come next. I ends next week and I feel like we still have a lot to be revealed still. It will DEFINITELY be satisfying when we see the bad guys go down.
From Now On, Showtime! – This is just a fun drama. It is a nice palette cleanser to be watching when you are watching some other HEAVY dramas. I love the chemistry between the two leads. I am liking the found family of ghosts. I am loving that while this drama has a lot of comedy, it also has a SUPER CREEPY crime element and serial killer. The actor playing the serial killer is doing a FANTASTIC job! I am excited to see how this drama develops.
Second Husband – I am still liking this drama BUT I WISH IT WASN’T EXTENDED FOR 30 MORE EPISODES! At this point it just seems like the plot is going in circles. I am also in an angsty part so I am frustrated because 1 conversation would clear up everything. š I am ready for the bad guys to get what is coming to them and for our lead couple to get the happy ending they deserve.
KVARIETY
Queendom 2 – I actually have not seen Queendom Season 1 so I need to go back and watch that. I loved Road to Kingdom and Kingdom so I was DEFINITELY going to watch this. I am enjoying it. I wish there was more interactions between the groups but I am only on episode 3 so I might not be far enough along to see this yet. I am excited for all the artists and love all of them so I am looking forward to more episodes and their performances.
Favorite Entertainment – I’ll be honest, the only reason I clicked play on this was I was surprised to hear that Ok Jin Uk was in it. When I found that out, I needed to check out this show. I am pleasantly surprised. I am enjoying it and it is an easy watch. I am excited to see more of the 5 members getting to know each other and interacting together.
CDRAMAS
Miss Truth (*ADDICTED*) – I have been wanting to watch this drama for a LONG TIME and I finally have gotten around to it. I am enjoying it a lot. It is funny because you think you know who the male lead is but the lead actress has chemistry with both leads and the writers could easily make her a couple with either one of the two male leads. I will be curious to see if the writer pulls the rug out from under us and goes in the opposite direction the audience is expecting. I am loving the female lead because she is smart and outspoken. I love the cases and I am looking forward to watching more of this drama.
THAI DRAMAS
KinnPorsche (*ADDICTED*) – It would be REALLY BAD if I was not enjoying this drama. Honestly though, how could you NOT be enjoying this drama. I am a couple of episodes behind on it but I am ready for the two leads to accept they have feelings for each other. I love that this is taking place in the mafia because it is something new, that I haven’t seen before. The leads have AMAZING chemistry and I am excited to see their relationship develop further.
Dear Doctor, I’m Coming for Soul – I am enjoying this drama but I will admit it is a little slow for me. It isn’t what I expected. I am a couple of episodes behind though. I love the two leads. I watched their other drama together Grey Rainbow and was excited to see them together again in this drama. THEY ARE THE BEST PART OF THIS DRAMA! I want to see more of them as a couple. I was also expecting more fantasy involved which I am not getting. I am still curious to see what happens next in the drama. I am also expecting a sad ending but we will see.
I only have a couple of airing Kdramas in June that I am planning on watching due to regional restrictions and access so I’ll be curious to see what I am watching next month. š¤©
