NOVEMBER 2022 WRAP UP

Just like that, it is the middle of December. I can't believe we are about 3 weeks from the end of 2022. Yes, I know this blogpost is a little late but HEY, THE HOLIDAYS AND LIFE ARE BUSY! This also means that my drama watching has greatly decreased because there is a lot going on right now. It will be better in about a month - at the middle of January. I am still watching things and looking forward to dramas as well. Does that ever stop for a dramawatcher? 😂

DRAMAS/MOVIES I COMPLETED IN NOVEMBER

I only finished watching one drama in November. I would have finished at least another one but I fell behind. Hopefully I will finish that one in December, before the end of the year. I did watch and finish some other shows and movies though.

Kabe-Koji-Nekoyashiki-kun Desires to be Recognized (Jdrama) (VIKI): I liked this jdrama more than I thought I would. I loved the lead couple's relationship. I loved how supportive all the characters were with each other. I knew going into this drama that some of the comedy wouldn't work for me and I was right. I was surprised that some of the comedy did work for me though. I also wished that there was 1 more episode at the end or if the ending was extended. I wanted to see couple life a little more.

JuJutsu Kaisen (Anime) (HBO-MAX): This is the first anime I have watched in years. I am SO GLAD that this was the first one I watched. I enjoyed this anime A LOT! I loved the humor. I loved the characters and their relationships. I became invested in the characters and their stories. The fight scenes were well-done and beautiful to watch. I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 2!

Slumberland (Movie) (NETFLIX): I had a lot of fun with this movie. It was fantastical and cute. It also had a great message and I loved the world building. I would recommend it to people if they were looking for a nice family movie to watch.

Enola Holmes (Movie) (NETFLIX): I have never seen the Enola Holmes movies so; I watched the first one over Thanksgiving. I have always been a HUGE fan of Sherlock Holmes and his world so; I knew I would like this one. I thought the characters were great. I loved Enola and her spunkiness. I enjoyed figuring out the mystery in this movie. I need to watch the second movie now.

See How They Run (Movie) (AMAZON PRIME): I LOVED THIS MOVIE! It was funny and quirky. The comedy was great. I loved how it was a mystery within a mystery. I loved the time era it was set in. I hope a second movie is made of this because I had a lot of fun with this movie.

NEW DECEMBER 2022 DRAMAS I AM EXCITED FOR:

THERE IS A TON OF DECEMBER DRAMAS THAT HAVE CAUGHT MY EYE! I am not watching any of them in the month of December and saving them for 2023. I will still list them though.

Connect (Kdrama)(HULU): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 7TH, 2022]

You got creepy, sci-fi horror Kdrama coming out in December. OF COURSE, I AM GOING TO CHECK IT OUT! I love the cast. I think a lot of these actors/actresses are talented and trying out a new genre for them. It will be fun to see what they do with their characters and this story. I am wondering if it will be one season or more than one season. I guess we will see.

Money Heist: Korea Part 2 (Kdrama)(NETFLIX): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 9TH, 2022]

I watched Season 1 so; I am definitely going to watch this season. I have never seen the original Money Heist so; I don't know what the outcome of these characters and story are. I am curious to see what happens. I am sure it will have some heart-pounding action in it just like Season 1.

Alchemy of Souls 2: Light and Shadow (Kdrama)(NETFLIX): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 10TH, 2022]

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I AM FOR THIS SEASON 2! I loved Season 1 so; I am excited to see the conclusion of this story and the characters. Also, can I just say- THIS POSTER IS EVERYTHING! I am obsessed with it. THEY HAVE SO MUCH CHEMISTRY AND IT IS JUST THE POSTER!

The Director Who Buys Me Dinner (Kdrama) (iQIYI): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 15TH, 2022]

I was already going to watch this BL drama because it is an office romance. THEN I SAW THAT IT HAS A REINCARNATION STORY! I am now double excited for this drama because I am a sucker for an office romance but also a sucker for a reincarnation story. I am curious how that is going to be pulled off in this drama.

Ameiro Paradox (Jdrama)(VIKI): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 16TH, 2022]

I am definitely going to check this one out. I am hesitant to say I am going to stick with it because it does seem to be a comedy. I am always cautious with comedy. So, we will see what happens with this one.

Red Balloon (Kdrama): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 17TH, 2022]

On one hand, this drama looks RIGHT UP MY ALLEY! I am getting makjang vibes from this poster. TV Chosun, the network that this drama is from, is known for making some good makjangs too. On the other hand, My Dramalist has this drama listed as a comedy in the genre. I don't get comedy at all from this poster but we will have to see. It is added to the list.

Trolley (Kdrama)(NETFLIX): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 19TH, 2022]

This drama looks RIGHT UP MY ALLEY! It looks like a thriller. It looks like it could have some juicy secrets revealed in the plot. It looks like it could be a more mature drama with LOTS OF DRAMA! I am definitely looking forward to this one.

Missing: The Other Side Season 2 (Kdrama): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 19TH, 2022]

I adored Season 1 of this drama so; I have been looking forward to Season 2 for quite some time. I AM SO EXCITED THAT IT IS FINALLY HERE! I hope that it comes to Netflix just like Season 1. Also LONG HAIR GO SOO!!

The New Employee (Kdrama)(VIKI): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 21ST, 2022]

I said it already but I am a SUCKER for office romances so, this one is also on my list. I also fell in love with the actor Moon Ji Yong from the BL drama Once Again. So, I am excited to see him back so quickly with another drama.

Alice in Borderland S2 (Jdrama)(NETFLIX): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 22ND, 2022]

This comes to NO ONE's surprise but I have been looking forward to Season 2 of this Jdrama for like a year AT LEAST! Especially because it was rumored to air in 2021 and never did. Season 1 was one of the best dramas I watched in 2020 so, I am going into Season 2 with HIGH expectations. The trailer for this drama looks even more intense than Season 1 which I don't know how that is even possible.

HIStory 5: Love in the Future (Tdrama)(VIKI): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 28TH, 2022]

I haven't checked out some of the recent HIStory dramas but this one has my attention. IT HAS TIME TRAVEL! I am always interested in a drama with time travel even if it is done badly or not. I don't know anyone in the cast which is always fun for me.

Island Season 1(Kdrama)(Amazon Prime): [PREMIERES DECEMBER 30TH, 2022]

Another drama that I have been looking forward to since it was announced. Of course, it is December and there are dramas being released that should have been released in October. That always seems to be the case BUT I AM OK WITH THAT! I might have to watch this one in the daylight but I am definitely checking it out. I MEAN COME ON - JUST LOOK AT THE CAST AND THIS POSTER! Looks BADASS!!

Now, we have come to the end. That is my list of what dramas I finished in November. THAT IS MY LIST OF DRAMAS I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO IN DECEMBER! We will see what dramas I actually end up starting and what dramas I finish in December. I already finished more dramas in December than I did in November so, that is a win. As I said, my life is about to get SUPER crazy so, I will have to determine what will take priority and what will take a back seat.

What dramas did you start in November? Did you complete any dramas in November? What did you like that you completed? What are you looking forward to in December for dramas? Anything I missed and need to add to my list? Is your list short or long?
