I thought another Hide & Seek blogpost would be the perfect companion to this week's podcast episode. You get to learn more about some of the actors and actresses you saw in the Kdrama. If this is the first time you have come across my HIDE & SEEK series, this blogpost series is all about the actors and actresses in a drama. Within this blogpost, if you liked a particular actor or actress in the drama I just talked about, you can find suggestions on what dramas or movies to watch them in next.
AS YOU CAN SEE - THIS WEEK IS ALL ABOUT THE KDRAMA PARASYTE: THE GREY!
If you listened to the podcast episode or follow me on social media, you know I liked Parasyte: The Grey A LOT! This drama has some actors and actresses who I am very familiar with. Other actors and actresses I don't think I have seen in a Kdrama before. So, this will even be fun for me to see what dramas I recognize these actors and actresses from.
JEON SO NEE as Jung Soo In
I think a lot of people would recognize Jeon So Nee from Encounter. I have not seen that drama. The first time I saw Jeon So Nee in a Kdrama was a short and good mini kdrama called Scripting Your Destiny. I also know her from Our Blooming Youth which I started but never finished. I think this her best role that I have seen her in. I know she has another Kdrama coming out later this year called Melo Movie.
LEE JUNG HYUN as Choi Joon Kyung
Now, Lee Jung Hyun has not done a drama in over 10 years before Parasyte: The Grey. She has been doing A LOT of movies though. She is quite famous. Her coming back to Kdramaland with Parasyte: The Grey was a big deal. I have not seen any of her dramas but I have definitely heard of them. I have not seen any of her movies but plenty are on my plan to watch list like Peninsula and Decision to Leave.
KOO KYO HWAN as Seol Kang Woo
Koo Kyo Hwan has not down A LOT of Kdramas but he has done A LOT of movies. I have seen quite a few of his dramas though. I like him a lot. He, OF COURSE, was in D.P. Season 1 and Season 2. He also has been in dramas like Monstrous. He was WONDERFUL in D.P. I have seen him in the movie Kill Bok Soon. He also was in the Kingdom: Ashin of the North Drama special. He has a lot of good movies that he has been in that are on my plan to watch list.
KIM IN KWON as Kang Won Seok
Kim In Kwon is an actor that has been around for a while. He has done a lot of dramas and movies over the years. I think I first saw him all the way back in 2009 in You're Beautiful. I have also seen him in Times and How to Buy a Friend. He has also been in dramas like Heartbeat, Kokdu: Season of Deity, The King's Affection, Mr. Queen and many more kdramas.
KWON KAE HYO as Kim Cheol Min
Kwon Hae Hyo also has been acting FOR A LONG TIME! If I listed out everything he has been in, we would be here for quite some time. I think a lot of people remember him from Search W.W.W. I have seen him in dramas such as The Crowned Clown, Nobody Knows, Zombie Detective and Forecasting Love and Weather. He also has done dramas like Under the Queen's Umbrella, Vigilante and Flex X Cop. He also has done a TON of movies.
YOON HYUN GIL as Seol Kyung Hee
Yoon Hyun Gil has only been acting for a few years but she has been in some big dramas in those short years. She debuted in Yumi's Cells. She also has been in The Good Detective Season 2, One Dollar Lawyer and Shadow Detective. She has been in a few movies like Decibel and Jung_E.
LEE HYUN KYUN as Pastor Kwan Hyuk Ju
Lee Hyun Kyun has been acting over the years in a lot of support and guest roles. I first saw him as a guest role in Where Stars Land. He has shown up in dramas like Touch Your Heart, Doctor Prisoner, Stranger Season 2, HellBound and The Good Detective Season 2 just to name a few. He also has done some movies like Emergency Declaration and Jung_E.
